Chefs such as Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver may be the inspiration for droves of British men swapping their drill bits for egg whisks, Brandon Abbott reported in The Daily Express:

Newly dubbed as “men-tertainers,” an increasing number of males are spending their free time organising dinner parties for their friends.

And they are happy to take care of all aspects of a soiree, from sending out the invites to thinking up recipes and doing the cooking.

According to a new study, male party devotees spend more money on kitchen gadgets than DIY tools and host an average of 29 social gatherings in their home each year.
